Dear Parents,

      The best gift any parent can give a child is the love of books and the joy of sharing favorite stories with a family member.  Learning to read and owning our own books is something special. 

      Throughout the school year I will be sending home book order forms. If you see books that interest you and your student you can fill out the form to send back to school with cash or a check made out to Scholastic. Or you can order online using your credit card.

      Books make great gifts.  If you would like to order a book as a gift for your child, let me know and I will be happy to set it aside and call you when it comes in. 

      Please remember that there is no obligation to order.  But we know of no better way to encourage reading than to allow children to choose and own their own books.
